Why is that life is so unfair? Why is it that things don't always go the way you planned, or ever? Why are the people in this world so cruel? Will it ever change? *Pulau Ketam,it is a small island located off the coast of Klang. The island is easily accessible from the Port Klang jetty by ferry. The "floating houses" that come to view as visitors approach the island is a sight to awe any city slickers. Perching casually on long wooden stilts, these dwellings are suspended about one to ten (1-10) metre above sea level. Pulau Ketam also is a great place to savour a variety of seafood specialties, in particular the curry crab.

We decided to pay a visit this year to have first-hand experience on what is Thaipusam all about.

I almost suffocated and the oxygen level seemed is depleted due to incense burning and huge crowd gathering there.

Have to respect those devotees who carried heavy kavadis and some with hooks pierced into their flesh in their pilgrim journey to fulfill their vows made to their deity, Lord Murugan.

For non-Hindu folks, at least participate in Thaipusam as a visitor once in your lifetime.
